gFondo 2010
June 14-18, 2010
teamgive’s 2010 gFondo is a fully supported, five-day cycling relay ride from Canada to Mexico. Our route descends from Canada towards Coeur d’Alene, ID, jogging east to Missoula, MT. From Missoula we head south through Idaho Falls and into Utah’s Cache Valley. Riding Highway 89 from Logan, UT through the Wasatch Valley down through Bryce Canyon, then further south to Kanab, UT. From Kanab we ride to Lake Powell and the South rim of Grand Canyon, and on toward Phoenix, AZ. Leaving Phoenix, we go on to Yuma, AZ and our finish at the US-Mexico border.
gFondo will cover more than 1,900 miles of the most beautiful terrain the United States has to offer. As this is a relay we expect no single rider to be on the bike for more than 190 miles total. This is a great opportunity to be out on the road and enjoy an epic adventure.
gFondo is open only to teamgive members. Cost has yet to be officially determined but we believe that $500 will cover all hotel, fuel, and food costs.
